Day Wise Trip Itinerary
On arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station, meet our representative and get transferred to respected vehicle. Later start the yatra by driving towards Haridwar. By reaching at Haridwar, check-in to the hotel and get refreshed. Attend the divine Ganga aarti at Har ki Pauri by evening and if time permits visit Mansa Devi temple too. Return back to hotel for the Dinner and Overnight stay.
Haridwar: Haridwar means “Hari Ka Dwar” or the “gateway to the almighty Lord”. Belongs to the Jagatpalak “Vishnu”, this place is highly auspicious where you feel the real divine power and spirituality. Located on the banks of River Ganges, this is the one of holiest destination for organizing the Kumbh. Also, it’s the place having the most auspicious Har Ki Pauri which belongs to the Saint god Bharathi, and the King Vikarma (belongs to Vikram Vetal). Therefore, it’s the place you must visit for at least once.
After hearty breakfast at hotel, check-out from the Haridwar between 7:00 – 8:00 AM and proceed to the drive towards Uttarkashi. The route will make you fall in love for hills and the surroundings of green mountains. On arrival at Uttarkashi, check-in at the hotel and fresh n up. Evening visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple & Uttarkashi market according to time. Return back to hotel for Dinner & Overnight stay.
Uttarkashi: “Uttarkashi” the dev Bhoomi which literally means “Kashi of the north” is one of the holy places in Hinduism. In addition, to have the natural and the devotional beauty, here you have lots of fun adventurous activities to enjoy. Dodital lake, Nicheketa Lake, Dodital Dayara Pass Trek, Dayara Bugyal trek are some of the famous attractions to visit here. Therefore, you must visit this place at least once.
Vishwanath temple: This holy temple is in the name of Lord Shiva, and full of amazing wonders. As for example, there’s a Trishul which is 8 foot 9-inch-long and has the 26 feet height. Also, inside the temple, there is a Shivlinga which is 56 cm high and having the elevation towards the south. As per belief, the tour to Gangotri is incomplete without visiting this temple, and therefore, this temple is highly important. Out of the temple, there is Nandi Baba guarding the temple premises. As per belief, in this right now, it’s the only place where Lord Shiva is present in his Swyambhu Shivlinga form.
Shakti Temple: The Shakti temple of Uttarkashi is one of the famous and holy temples in Hinduism. This temple directly belongs to Mata Shakti. Therefore, a place where Mata herself listens to you and helps you. Inside the temple, there is a trident that is 6 m tall, and 90 cm in diameter. As per devotees, if you try moving this Trishul with all your body weight, you can’t any success, but if you try the same with just your fingertips, you can easily do it. It’s really a miracle if true. About this Trishul, there is a belief that it’s the original weapon of Goddess Durga that she threw to kill demons. Therefore, you must visit this place at least once.
Uttarkashi Weather: Very hot summer season having the temperature between 30 to 35 degree Celsius, but at night, you may feel the pleasant cool weather.
Early morning leave the hotel for Gangotri Ji darshan. Drive to Gangotri sharp at 5 AM, en-route visit Gangnanione. One can take a holy dip in Tapt Kund (Hot Spring). Further drive towards Gangotri via charming Harsil Valley. Harsil famed for its natural prettiness and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. By reaching at Shree Gangotri Ji, take the holy dip in sacred river Ganges, which called in the name of Bhagirathi on its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan at the temple, then relax for some time in the pretty environs. Later drive back to Uttarkashi hotel for Overnight stay.
Gangotri Temple: This holy temple belongs to the goddess Ganga. She is the Goddess of Moksha. Therefore, if she gets happy with you, you get yourself free from all your sins. Also, she makes your soul free from the cycle of life and death. With her blessing, you get a permanent respectful position in heaven. Therefore, it’s the place where you must visit. It’s the place where the goddess Ganga came first when Lord Shiva released her from his hair lock. It was Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa who constructed this temple in the 18th Century, on the bank of river Bhagirathi.
Gangotri Weather: During the summer season, the maximum temperature can reach to 20 degrees Celsius during the day times, and at nights, the temperature may fall down to 10 degrees Celsius, and the weather gets chillier. During winter, weather becomes life threatening, and also the heavy snowfall blocks the pathway. Therefore, the pathway remains closed during the season.
Morning after breakfast, depart from the hotel for Haridwar. En-route visit Rishikesh according to time. By reaching at Haridwar, check-in to the hotel and relax yourself. Evening attend the Ganga Aarti at Hari Ka puri and later return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Rishikesh: The holy place Rishikesh is adventurous activities, ancient temples, and amazing natural beauty. It is also famous as the Yoga capital of the world and celebrates the international yoga festival every year. It is located in the foothill of holy Himalaya and along with the convergence of holy Ganga and the Chandrabhage river. White Water Rafting, Bungee Jumping, Flying Fox, Mountain Biking, and a lot more adventures to do here. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Triveni Ghat, and lot more devotional and spiritual places are here to make to feel the real peace and divine values. Therefore, you must visit this place whenever possible.
After hearty breakfast, depart from Haridwar and drive towards Delhi, to end the divine journey. On arrival get dropped at the guest location/Airport/Railway Station for the onwards journey.
